The Mastiff is, well, massive! In fact, he’s the biggest dog breed in terms of mass. Which isn’t surprising…this dog is dense! A full-grown Mastiff male can weigh up to 230 pounds.

(way more than most people)

So if you’re thinking about getting one of these noble giants, make sure you’re fully committed before doing so. Especially since you’ll need to dedicate lots of time to training during the puppy stage.

Once your pup is fully grown, you’re going to have a much harder time showing him who’s boss. So better to start early!
