All puppies take time to mature and obviously look a bit different once they’ve grown up. But this is especially true of the Borzoi. If you’ve ever seen one, I’m sure you were amazed by their unique head shape.

But that distinctive feature is long in the making…

In fact, Borzoi heads take about three years to fully develop and reach their final shape! The poor pups must get impatient waiting for their heads to grow!

But you’ll probably agree that it’s worth the wait.

Especially since it lands them with a 270-degree field of sight once they’ve fully developed.
